Through dramas like 'Ghost' and 'The Chaser' dramas without romance are uprising from the drama production world.
Korean Dramas consist of many different genres. Medical, Mystery,
Crime genres were very often used as genres for dramas but never did the
Korean drama productions leave out romance or comedy in the whole
production as a whole.
In the online community many of the public agrees when stated "In
Korean dramas, in medical dramas the main characters share romance in
the hospital, in crime dramas main characters share romance in a police
station, in sports dramas while doing sports the characters share
romance."
But recently there are dramas that are cracking the historical
romance existence in Korean drama rule and are sticking to only the
genre itself.
Such as the dramas that are airing now, SBS 'The Chaser' and 'Ghost.'
'The Chaser' with a strong production staff, strong actors and very concrete script is producing a chasing action drama.
The two dramas are not receiving love with the usual love romance between the two main characters.
In 'Ghost' highly praised actor So Ji Sub and Lee Yeon Hee are the
main faces of the drama but the production of 'Ghost' is being steadily
led in a crime investigation scene.
The two dramas have come this far without a kiss scene.
